No Satellite signal at outside TV

Fired up the outside tv today and got the "no signal" message when I selected satellite. Was able to program and get cable and antenna signal. Went back to the entertainment center in the bedroom and found the Cat5 connector for that TV at the matrix switch is broken, it will not stay snapped into the slot on the matrix switch.

Has anyone replaced an end? how hard is it? I doubt running a new cable is an option.

Thanks,
Ron

The ends are easy to replace, just pay attention to the color coded wire pairs. I've made up my own cables for years. As an alternative, you could cable tie the old connector in place if you aren't comfortable replacing it. It sounds like the retention tab is broken or maybe just pushed down where it doesn't latch.
