Oil change frequency
on our Allegro 36 LA Ford recommends changing oil at 7,500 miles. I've been changing at 5,000 with standard oil. I just changed it and used Mobil 1 full synthetic and it says you can go 20,000 miles. Was wondering what interval others might use with full synthetic oil?

5,000 or once a year. Oil and grease are cheap compared to what they protect. Just my opinion of course. Long periods of sitting causes condensation, if you're putting 1000 miles a week on it then you could go to 10,000 or above.

I change between 3500 and 5000 miles depending on down time. Mobil synthetic and filter around $50. I dont throw money around, but I believe my motor internally is in like new condition. It takes many $50 oil changes to replace a motor. I think 5000 miles is a good rule of thumb.

once a year with mobile 1, unless we go on a long trip. Like from George to Colorado Springs and back, then twice a year. For me time is more appropriate than mileage. Dave

I'd say to carefully read your Ford's engine manual .
Cummins , says they have no problem with owners using synthetic oil ; BUT ; the change interval has to remain the same.

If your Ford gasser is still under the warranty period I'd be very careful about deviating for their maintenance schedule.

5,000 miles no matter what oil. That's my rule.
Cars, truck or MH [8.1 Chevy].
Happy Glamping.

7500/12 miles/months if not towing.
5000/12 if towing. Motorcraft filter and semi-synthetic oil, as the owner's manual states.

That’s what I did when we had the gasser.

I change oil at 5,000 mile intervals because it's easy to remember the change interval. I have been doing this for almost 50 years with no ill effects and I often keep my vehicles over 100,000 miles. Changing the oil and filter more often keeps the oil cleaner which may result in less wear and tear on the internal engine parts.
Regardless of accrued mileage, change the oil at least once a year.
