Ordered 2013 36LA-Have some questions

My wife and I ordered the Tiffin after researching a year between the Bounder and the Allegro. After a month, we haven't used it except to just load it up with goodies for our up coming road trip from CA to FL.

We have the radio option that includes the GPS and Sirius Ready. With the cost of the option I am wondering if anyone has had issues activiating the Sirius radio?

I called Tiffin after looking under the dash and not seeing the plug that goes into the back of the radio and they told me that there should be a tuner box to the left of the Steering column that should have the wiring that goes to the radio.

Why wouldn't they just plug it in to begin with? Regardless, I would still have to call Sirius to activate. Doesn't make sense.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If you select the satellite radio and turn to channel 1 or 2 are you receiving a signal from Sirius? Is your radio ID being displayed on channel 1 ? Modern Sirius ready radios don't have a tuner box, it is built in.

When we spoke with Tiffin technical support they stated the tuner would be be on the firewall to the left of the steering column. We looked today and nothing. We will be calling back on Monday as two things could have happened during our order process.

1. The dealer didn't order the satellite ready option even though we paid for it or
2. The technical support person at Tiffin didn't tell me the correct information.

My wife and I spent some time looking underneath the dash looking for the cable that would plug into the back of the radio.
