I have heard rumors that the 2014 36la will have a bedroom ceiling fan and an exterior tv. My question is has anyone ordered a coach inbetween model years when the next year model offered different options? If my coach is not in production yet do you think it would be possible to order something like the Ceiling fan that will be offered on the next model year. Just wondering if nayone has or knows anyone who has had this experience.

When we watched ours being built (35QBA) we had them make modifications based on the current years options. I'm not sure, but I don't think it would be possible to add things that are slated for the next model. The coach wiring, mounts, etc would need to be accounted for to "add" a fan or TV.

We were about to order a 2013 36LA and after inquiring about the outside TV, our salesman told us that the outside TV will be an option on the 2014 and if we would wait 4 weeks, we could order a 2014. That was two weeks ago. The factory wouldn't tell him about any other changes from the 13 to the 14, so I'm not sure about the fan. He did tell me that there would be a flat 3% price increase for the 14. We decided to wait because we want the outside TV in the wall. I hope we can negotiate a little of that 3% when the time comes. DW kinda hopes they change the interior colors a little on the 14 also. They did tell me that they would put the outside TV in the 2013 after the coach was finished but the cost would exceed the 3% increase if we waited?

Make sure to check pricing at Bankston in Huntsville, AL. They beat EVERYONE in the Southeast when we ordered our 2013 35QBA. Lazydays in Florida was next in line, but they were a much longer drive for pickup.

I would recommend giving Davis Motorhome in Memphis a chance to make an offer. They were the second lowest out of 12 dealers I contacted/emailed. The lowest dealer was over 1,200 miles away from Red Bay, and my new 36 LA had only 184 miles on it when we bought it 2 weeks ago. Have spent 7 nights in it so far, and just turned 1,000 miles on the odometer.

I checked with DavisRV, ShermanRV and LazyDaysRV, but ended up buying ours local (DixieRV) for the best deal.

Glad to hear about Davis working on the price. However I looked at a 36LA there about 3 months ago and they would not budge on the price. I came home that night and ordered my RV from Lazy Days in about an hour and saved big. I wanted to buy local but the savings made the price very worth while.
