Overhead bunk being considered

I was talking to Tiffin mfg sales today about the gas Allegra Open Road 31 and 32 ft models and remarked that an overhead bunk over driver seats would be great for grandchildren. Well, the salesman said it is definitely being explored and a decision would be made or announced in 4-6 weeks hopefully. Explained Bob Tiffin was very concerned about liability issues on the power bunk and a child getting caught or squished in a malfunction or short. Everyone tends to be leaning toward the manual model at Tiffin. This would be a positive move if in 31 or 32 ft models. He could not specify what models are being considered at this time. Just wait and see. Maybe have for Tampa show!
