Overhead bunk in a 2015 36LA

Just got back from looking at the 2015 Tiffin 36 LA at Scott's in NJ and was surprised to see an overhead bunk over the drivers area. I like the idea but was hoping for something along the lines of the Fleetwood model. The Tiffin is a small twin where the Fleetwood has a larger queen bunk. But still love the 36LA layout.

Did you take a picture? If so, can you post it?

I would also like to see dimensions and specifics. We also like the Winnebago Vista models but their over head bunk is like 32" wide where most of the other manufacturers I have looked at are over 40+ inches.

Since it had a overhead bunk in the drivers area would have to assume that the cabinets and TV would be eliminated from that area?

Just saw pics of a new unit on rvtrader that has the bunk:

2015 Tiffin Motorhomes Allegro 36la, Huntley IL - 114331429 - RVTrader.com

Not the best pics, but you can see that the storage is still there in the front... although they are smaller and the front side storage is gone.

My Fleetwood Excursion has the overhead bunk that lowers. It's a queen and very nice with a 5" memory foam mattress. It has cabinets that lower with the bunk but no tv. The TV is on the slide

Yes i noticed that the bunks in the Fleetwoods are much larger and hold more weight. And unlike the Tiffen they dont require any muscles to get them up or down.

Hi all, here is a photo of the Allegro bunk above the captian chairs. As you can see it is smaller than the Fleetwood; but, you can only get it in the lower level gas RVs since the don't have it in the Bounder, Classic Bonder or Southwind. You would have to go to the lower deisel in the Flweetwood line see them. Although I did see that the Newmar Canyon Star has it as an option on its gas RV's. But havent seen one yet and don't know which models they are offered.
