radiator fix

please post pictures of your unit when they get finished with it. Like I said in my private message. I do not know where they have the space to move everything out of a sandwich configuration or put in a larger radiator. I would like to see how they do it and see if either I can do it myself or get the local freightliner dealer to do it. If they are doing it for 2500 it cannot be a major job. The radiator is going to be a big chunk of that money and local freightliner shops charge 125.00 for labor so 8 hours would be 1000 of that money. I have not found on the internet where anyone has had this done or talks about it. You are going to have a very well read posts if you can post the pictures.

There are a lot of older posts on the internet that show people with various brands of motorhomes besides tiffin having this problem. MOst of us have been able to keep our motor home from overheating but have to manually downshift to pull grades that the engine can easily pull in 6th gear. In New mexico and California I had to downshift to 3rd gear and drive in 3rd gear a few times. This has me in the slow lane doing 35 and burning a lot of diesel keeping the RPM's maxed out just to keep the engine from overheating. I would be willing to pay 2500.00 to fix that .
