Phaeton 36BH
For those who own the 36BH, what would you like different? We are scheduled to look at a new unit and would like your input. Been salivating over a Phaeton for a few years and looking to pull the trigger. Thanks for your input.

I think that you mean 37BH. We really like ours. Previous coach was a 36QSH. The 37BH has slightly less storage but overall it works well. I did not order Aqua Hot because I was not willing to give up the pass through bay and IMO, the former propane tank location doesn't make up for that second pass through. If you are tall (over 6'), you will not like the shower unless you can sit down for the entire process. If you like to do your own work, you will find many things to be tight. Remember, they basically squeezed a 40' coach down to 38'. I can't buy a larger coach because of storage space restrictions, so I'm as happy as I can be with my 37BH.

We are very happy with our 37BH. We have been full timing and living in it 2 years and love it. The floor plan works great with the 1/2 bath, and it has a spacious look in the living room.
We did the all-electric option and like the heat and hot water from the AquaHot. We use it when temps get below 45 and enjoy the floor heat and how quiet it is.
True, storage is somewhat limited, but we have minimized. This coach is very comfortable and makes a great home.
By the way, love the fireplace! Also did the table/chairs and the computer workstation.

we toohave the 37bh and love it, very open inside went with the propane instead of the all electric as we did not like how much room the aqua hot took in the bay.

We have a 2018 37BH and love it. We came.from a 2014 RED 33AA, so we have not missed any of the previously mentioned storage space. We kept the propane stove, although we have never used it. We use a portable cooktop. We love the heated floors and fireplace.

Just curious, does the 37BH have a two stage engine brake?

Nope. Exhaust brake. Only Phaetons on the Powerglide chassis have a two stage engine brake

Oh well. Better than nothing. Stupid question... do exhaust brakes have stages also? Guess I need to read up on engine brakes vs exhaust brakes.

The exhaust brake does not have a stage. You simply turn it on and it starts to slow you down when you take your foot off of the gas pedal.
