We were recently in Red Bay with our 2011 QBH Phaeton for a significant water leak in the bedroom slide, the one that carries the bed (driver's side). After replacing the bottom seal, although it has not leaked yet, it is possible to see daylight at both bottom corners of the repair when that slide is extended. When closed no light is seen of course. My wife is concerned about this representing a possible "insect tunnel" and was wondering if any others have noted this small open passageway when the slide is extended. Thanks.

Began, that cannot be normal for the reason that your DW exclaimed and for other reasons, heat/air and just plain quality come to mind first. I would ask Red Bay revisit the issue.

Good luck.

I just looked at a brand new 2012 Phaeton and I could see daylight when it is extended also.

It is some what normal on most but not all QBH. Looked at lots of them at Lazy Days while in for many weeks of repair.
