I had that problem (twice) with my Fleetwood Providence. My problem turned out to be the lock on the motor. If yours has the same lock, when your slide is closed, crawl under it and look at the rear of the motor, if there is a rubber boot on the working end, feel the lock inside the boot (you don't have to remove the boot). It should press one way or the other. Just press the lock, if it moves, then you have just locked the gears on the motor. It should stay locked. But if it slides out again, you need to try to lock it again. If it keeps on sliding out, then there is a problem with the lock. Mine hasn't moved, since the last time I did this.
