Quality Control

Good Day General question for the Tiffin faithful;

After much research we decided to purchase a Tiffin Open Road 31 foot last spring. We purchased it from General RV in Michigan. We have had a problem with our main slide and quality of the paint/ finnish on our right side lower compartments. While giving it a wax this spring I noticed that the paint above the windshield is very uneven and missing completely in some areas. I'm wondering is this the norm or should I have climbed up and crawled all over it before purchasing? I'm working with Tiffin to have the slide repaired at Red Bay as General saws the entire slide has to be removed to effect repairs. Still waiting for a reply.

Would like to hear the you all as to your experience with service, reliability etc.

Thank you

Ron & Kim
Marquette Michigan.

Yes, you should have climbed all over it! But, since you didn't, you'll have to work with the dealer and Tiffin to get it fixed. Unfortunately it happens, but you shouldn't have any problems getting it fixed other than the hassle of taking it to them.

IF you are going to be in the Red Bay area take it there.
