Question for any open road 36 ft owners

Have a 2014 36 L.A. and tow an gmc acadia. I usually keep the generator running or dash air on. Mileage is about 7 per gallon. What are you stats?

Tow a CRV and gets about the same. All depends on the terrain: mountains less, flat more.

Thumbs up Sounds about right!

We had this discussion in another thread but without the toad.

The 36 LA seems to be averaging between 7.2 and 8.0 mpg's without towing anything. So 7.0 sounds about right. The arcadia is at the high end of your towing capacity so that's really not too bad. Keep your speed down to max out at 60, with some time as the engine accrues some milage you'll probably finish at 7.5 mpg. Enjoy the ride we both own a beauty of a coach!

almost all rv's with V10 Fords get from 7 to 8 mpg. my toad is a 2007 jeep liberty old rv was a b+/c forest river lexington and new rv is a tiffin 32ca about the same mpg on both. all rv's suck on mpg, so don't get below 1/4 tank before you fill up. Dave
