Rear bedroom slide on 2017 Breeze 31BR

Experiencing a problem on rear bedroom slide. My D/S slide extend light came on when I powered up the house battery by the front entrance. Can't shut it off. Second time it happened. The first time the slide activated on its own. Luckily I was able to catch it in time and shut my coach off as I was parked in the storage lot. Questions:

1. Has anyone experienced this and possible causes?

2. Can the Breeze be driven with just the chassis battery?

3. I am in south Florida (embarrassing to admit Broward County where you vote late and vote often)

I have an appt with North Trail for a 6 month inspection on the slides but now I am concerned that if the house battery is on, that slide will be extending while driving.

Check you slide extend switch - it sounds like it is stuck. Turn it off and a few times, make sure it ie in a neutral position and turn on your house batteries. If your controls are through the Snyder system, call Tiffin Service and see what they think.

To answer this part of the question, yes you should be able to drive with the house batteries turned off.

If you have Schwintek slides, you can disconnect the control module. They should be at the rear of the coach in one of the compartment on an inside wall.

Followed through on your advice after tinkering around - called Tiffin - spoke to a service tech - it was the Spyder switch - so placed an order for a new one.
