Last night while waxing my bus I noticed that the camera has 5 little hole next to the lens. Is this for a microphone? The DW and I are currently using walky talkies, but if i have a microphone I would rather use that.

Thanks Vern

Not sure about the '08 Bus, but our '05 Allegro Bay rear view camera has a microphone. I can hear DW when she's behind the rig directing me, but it is one way - there is no mic inside so she can't hear me (sometimes that's a good thing). We have a Triplevision system, and the volume control is the bottom knob on the monitor panel. It has a little speaker symbol beside it.

I have a 2008 Allegro and it too has a mic. on the rear camera. As PAZ mentioned the volume control is next to monitor. On mine its the bottom knob. You can hear the DW but she can't hear you, two way walkie talkies are better.

Our 06 Allegro also has the microphone. Volume control is on the monitor inside.

Our 05 Allegro Bay has a mic. We turn it down but leave it on just in case our toad were to have a blow out. Hopefully we could hear it.
