HI everyone. I am just about to order a new Phaeton 40 KQH, pricing looks to be about 24% off list, any thoughts if this is the going rate, looked long and hard to get this far.

Have heard very good things about Sherman. We bought at about 28% off list in late '05, but our Tiffin dealer isn't around anymore, maybe the 28% off is the reason why. You might also post the dealer you are working with for any info on followup service and support. If you have a trade, how are you doing with it dollar-wise?

If I have learned anything, it pays to call or shop around, the difference from one dealership to another is astounding, I'm pretty close to what I was hoping for, should have it all finalized this week, The spread is from 70k to 100k on a coach that i thought would be worth about 115, so thats where I am at 15k apart. tax difference is half of that. Dealer will be a destination dealer, but the locals (3hrs away) not even in the game.

Something around 25% is common.

Our WI dealer, King's Campers ( Home - Kingscampers.com ), also get very high marks for price and service. We 'left' them only because we chose a different brand, but continue to recommend them to anyone seeking something they sell.

24% discount is a good price if you are happy with the dealership.

If it's reasonable for you to shop Florida, I got a pretty good deal (around 26% off) on a 40ft QBH from John Wicks, a salesman at North Trail RV in Fort Myers... Better than any offer from LazyDays.....This was about 4mts ago, so don't know if same or better price available
