Recommended coolant for 2003 Allegro Bus

Hi there everyone,

The DW and I bought a used 2003 Allegro bus about 3 years ago. I am in the process of replacing the Surge tank. The coolant is an Amber color. Not quite sure what coolant we should be placing in the tank to bring it up to full. We were told the ES Compleat was blue. So not sure if we have extended life coolant in the rig or something else.

On the Off chance we need to flush and replace the coolant in our rig, being that it is a 40 foot diesel pusher with a side mounted radiator, does anyone know how much coolant we should be putting in if we need to tackle that project?

Does anyone have any suggestions for us on this?

Happy camping! - Eric and Carol -

Eric I have a 2003 allegro bus that Freightliner replaced the surge tank, I checked the invoice all it shows is that the coolant is ED-Compleat EF OAT. I don't have the RV at home now but the color of the coolant is yellow that I use to keep the surge tank filled. If no one else post when I go to where the RV is stored I will get the information you are asking.
