Recommended Pickup Check List

We are looking to order a 2018 Tiffin 36LA in the coming year. We plan to custom order it from a remote dealer mainly due to discounts offered. Does anyone have or recommend a check list we should run through when picking up the motorhome? Plan to try and test everything before leaving the dealer, but I don't want to miss something. I'm sure there are folks here that could recommend what and how best to test based on their experiences.

I don't have anything handy, but search this forum or Google for "RV Pre-Delivery Checklist". Lot's of good stuff out there.

You can make your own list but the gist is make sure everything works and you understand how to operate everything. If you need to, stay a few days at or nearby the dealer to make sure you understand everything.

Highlights of things you want to make sure you understand are:
- Electrical system including charging modes, inverter, location of shut offs, fuses, etc.
- Plumbing including fresh water, city water, waste systems, filters and filter changing, sanitizing, etc.
- Air conditioning and heating systems including thermostats, air filters
- Windows, screens, and window coverings
- Dash controls and systems, back-up camera, radio
- Ford chassis including tires, tire pressures, fluids and checking fluids
- Entertainment system

Just learning all that should keep you busy for a few days.

Many dealers will gladly pay for a campsite near their dealership for at least one night. I would suggest you spend at least one night near the dealer just in case.

Total cost?

We have also looked into ordering a 2018 36LA..... dealing with 2 dealers within a 2 hr drive and still negotiating price. You mentioned additional discounts you received, what was your final price delivered?
