RED 33A Dometic Fridge to Residential?

Our 2017 RED has a domestic fridge that is being replaced under warranty. A suggestion is we replace with a Residential. We boon dock a lot so I am concerned this switch would cause me grief. We have 480 watts of solar panels with 2000 watt inverter and 4 Trojan AGM batteries. So the questions for all you wise ones, am I going to have to run my Jenny for hours at a time? Can I boon dock for 4-5 days in the sunshine without using the Jenny...... or should I stick with the double door dual Dometic.

Oh ya.... Currently have an ice maker and my wife would divorce me if new fridge does not have one..... hmmmmm.... might not be a bad idea.....

Stick with the Propane Fridge. Will not be able to operate with low Generator use for extended periods. I know many who have had Solar and still could not keep up with the Res Refrigerator.

We kept up with solar running a residental fridge.
Except for the 2 shortest daylight months, we didn't need the generator at all.
We were full time on an anchored boat. During the short daylight days, we would run the generator 4 or 5 hours, every 4 or 5 days. ( A tank of gas in a Honda eu2000 )

I had 675 watts of solar, wired in series, a 800 AH battery bank and a small 7.6 c.f. fridge with a top freezer.
We started with 600 AH of battery capacity, but added 200 more, to support our first inverter. It drew 4 amps in idle mode. That was almost 100 AH a day. The replacement inverter drew 1/2 an amp, using only 12 AH a day.

A bigger fridge or a power hungry ice maker may not have worked, but we microwaved, made coffee electricly, and watched TV every night with our 2000 watt PSW inverter.
We spent 3 to 4 months afloat in the Keys for 8 years.
