Red Bay

This is a little sensitive, but I need to ask. Have any minorities, especially northerners, been to Red Bay for service? How were you treated?

I would like to purchase a Tiffin in a few years, but am concerned about taking it to Red Bay for service. I hope no one is offended by my asking, but we live in a strange world.

I would not worry about it. Good folks there. This is something I would never think about.

You have nothing to worry about. The people in Red Bay are some of the most gracious, hospitable people you will ever meet. Be friendly to them and they will welcome you in. We've been there three times and really enjoy going back.

You should buy that Tiffin soon and start traveling. You will find out that we have a big country with many great people and places to visit. There is a lot of country south of the Mason Dixon line and west of the Mississippi River.

All nice folks though.

Iím originally from Ohio. We are in Red Bay now for warranty service for our Tiffin we purchased in October of last year. Everyone here has been very pleasant and great to deal with. Iím coming back through in October for my annual engine service at Bay Diesel.
Go ahead and get that Tiffin. We love our coach and the service.

I - FULLY - Understand...

However, be aware of your surroundings WHEREVER you travel: While the VAST majority of people youíll meet will be gracious and friendly, some people are still fighting their own personal demons. That said, as a minority RVer, Iíve visited the Tiffin facilities and met MANY friendly people, as well as the Tiffin family. The tour was great!! The area is beautiful with several points of interest (Helen Kellerís home). Iíve even found the south more friendly than several northern states (IMO). Iíve found that conducting oneís self with civility will get the same in return. Hit the road and enjoy Red Bay!!

Thanks, folks. It is unfortunate that this has to be addressed, but you know what they say - an ounce of caution ........

When I did the tour in Janurary, there was one thing I noticed. The way to their hearts was to say "ROOL TIDE". There were a few Auburn tee shirts and stickers.
