Residential refrigerator

I know some of you have had Brannon put in a residential refrigerator . Have you had any problems? We have had Brannon do lots of work and he does quality work with no problems. Having said that, we called Tiffin to see what they charge, etc. and they will not put in the whirlpool with the water and ice on the door because it will blow the circuit board. Also they won't put a side by side which I want and need so it won't hit the wall. We have a 2007 Allegro Bus. I am sure no one has had any problems, but just want to check. Thanks for any input you may have.

Well I just confirmed my own thinking. I went to Tiffin Rv Network and all the answers were just one "Brannon". I was definitely going with him anyway, but just wanted to check. Best thing that ever happened to Tiffin coach owners is Brannon and Chris Berry for woodwork.

What will "blow" the circuit board is the MSW inverter. As I understand it, when Brannon installs a residential refrigerator he either replaces the inverter with pure sine wave or he installs a second, smaller PSW inverter dedicated to the fridge.

Some refrigerators will run on MSW. I installed a Samsung RF197, and it does fine on MSW. It is a French door model.

I have a 2011 Allegro Red with a whirlpool residential refrigerator (2000W inverter). It worked great thru last November. I winterized the coach which included turning off the breaker for the frig. We were taking it out for the first time over Easter so about four day prior to leaving I turned everything on and got her ready to go. The refrigerator portion seems to working fine but several days into the trip we noticed everything in the freezer was thawing. We were plugged into 50A. The ice maker was turned off. The unit was running the fan was blowing but the freezer was approximately the same temp as the refrigerator. Before I attempt to pull the refrigerator out does anyone have any ideas
