I contacted Tiffin Motorhomes Workhorse chassis group and explained my problem. Nathan requested pictures and information on my questions about the OEM steering damper. He contacted Safe T Plus and confirmed I have the correct steering device then told me the guys in the shop confirmed the steering damper was not OEM. I removed the damper and my steering problems were solved.
Much Thanks to Tiffin and Safe T Steer for all their help in resolving my steering problem!

For clarification, the Safe T Plus and the steering damper are two separate devices.
I removed damper and left Safe T Steer installed with much success.
