Sanitize water system 2014 Tiffin 35QBA

How do you draw the chlorine solution from a bucket into the water system?

Does your water pump have a winterizing valve right before the intake line? A hose connected there can be used to suck RV antifreeze or bleach water into the system. If no valve and hose there, pour the bleach into the city water hose, connect to the hydrant, and push it into the tank and system that way.

Mine does not have the winterizing valve. I removed the whole house filter and filled with a cup and a half of bleach. Then hooked up the waterline to fill the tank. Then the normal process flushing the system, let it sit for 6 hrs of so,then drain and fresh water flush and rinse. Worked like a charm.

Good ideas. I always pour the bleach solution into the fresh water tank through the manual fill port. You might need a funnel to keep from spilling the bleach solution.

Since the OP asked how to get bleach into the system, I assumed he had one of the many newer RVs that don't have a gravity fill port, just relying on the city water fill and valves to introduce water into the tank.

The suggestion to use the filter to introduce bleach will work at getting the bleach into the system after the filter, but won't put bleach in the tank itself to clean and sanitize it, unless the filter is in the line from the hose connection and before the "fill tank" valve.
