I am considering upgrading my winegard sd dome to an in motion, does anyone know if it finds the sattelites faster than the standard ststionary dish? Mine seems to search for a long time till it locks onto a sat. And the Tiffin web site says that all coaches are prewired for indivual sat recievers to living room and bedroom, does anybody know if and where the bedroom connection would be in a 32ba allegro? Do I need to remove my tv to find it.

I have the movin view which is an in motion type of dish and I never use it when traveling unless the wife is driving and I want to catch a show. It seems to pick up faster when traveling than when parked. Once parked it seems to take a few minute to find the satellite. And some times that few minutes seems like a long time.

If it's prewired thats where they will be.You should have an access panel or you should be able to take tv out easily. I have inmotion , but I bought it before the HD Rage.Might be something for you to consider, currently no real HD for inmotion. From the looks it will be awhile and very pricey.

Winegards new Slimline takes about 6min (give or take) start to finish, is HD capable, but is STRICTLY STATIONARY. I would say since your coach is new, I would go fo the new technology since you probably have HD ready TV's?

It already came with the stationary winegard installed was just thinking about upgrading it to in motion if it helped the dish lock on quicker.

Keith,
If you are parked, the in-motion antenna will not lock on any faster than their stationary unit (it may actually take a bit longer). However, if you travel with your inverter on and your receiver running you can have the in-motion antenna running while you are driving and it will already be locked onto the satellite when you get there.
