Seeking info on AB options
We are discussing spec'ing and ordering a 2019 AB. I hope the phaeton 40IH floorplan becomes available, it would really suit us.
I do have a few questions that I need help with:
1. What is "Winegard connect"? We will have a Winegard Trav'ler installed and put a DirecTV receiver in the coach. I would be OK if they do not install the in motion satellite dome.
2. Is the Wolf cooktop upgrade a real benefit. My lovely wife cooks a little in the coach, she does more crock pot dishes and I grill out. If it's significantly better than the normal cooktop, we can spec it in, just curious about the real benefit is.
3. Can anyone tell me if Tiffin will install Zephyr pilot and co pilot seats in an AB? I have sat in them and they are very nice.
4. Has anyone had a custom paint job done on a Tiffin during the build? To me, the paint schemes are overly busy with many colors. I would prefer a simpler design (maybe make the top of the coach white instead of black and make several template colors he same to make it less busy). It would be a simpler, cheaper paint job.
5. Does anyone have experience (positive or problems) with the powered cargo slides? I'm in and out of our cargo slides 3-4 times per day and they are heavy with the stuff I have in there.
I appreciate all comments.

WInegard connect is a wifi antenna and cell booster all in one. Catch is that you have to buy a cell service data plan from Winegard. Not cheap! Have them run an Ethernet cable from the roof to a front cabinet location so you can install an outside Wifi antenna (WiFi Ranger or TechoRV).

Before you buy anything from Winegard, you should look into RF Mogul.
They supply a better product than the Traveler and they have excellent customer service which Winegard is Seriously Lacking.
I can tell you, if you ever (and you will) have a problem with your Traveler, Winegard will have you remove the whole Turret and send it back to them for repair. Not an easy task, I know from experience.
RF Mogul on the other hand will provide parts, service and expertise to repair the device through one of their dealers without having to send it back to the factory.

I second the RF Mogul. Right now I have an old MotoSat HD dish and an RF Mogul controller. The original MotoSat controller burned out and couldn't be replaced so I got the RF Mogul controller. Once installed it has functioned perfectly and is very fast on acquisition.
When (not if) the MotoSat quits I can have the controller reprogrammed and the RF Mogul top end installed.

I do have a few questions that I need help with:
1. What is "Winegard connect"? We will have a Winegard Trav'ler installed and put a DirecTV receiver in the coach. I would be OK if they do not install the in motion satellite dome. If you can leave it off, do so. Not all that it is cracked up to be and who uses campground Wifi anyway.
2. Is the Wolf cooktop upgrade a real benefit. My lovely wife cooks a little in the coach, she does more crock pot dishes and I grill out. If it's significantly better than the normal cooktop, we can spec it in, just curious about the real benefit is.Excellent cooktop but you will have to be connected to 50 amp or running the generator to use it. The Wolf will be good for resale but if you really don't cook much, go with the standard one.
3. Can anyone tell me if Tiffin will install Zephyr pilot and co pilot seats in an AB? I have sat in them and they are very nice. Ask Tiffin if they will install for you. They routinely upgrade seats in other model lines.
For a fee, you can modify the paint scheme. Ask your dealer to put you in touch with the people who handle this.
Deleting a color or substituting a color from another model line is usually no problem.
5. Does anyone have experience (positive or problems) with the powered cargo slides? I'm in and out of our cargo slides 3-4 times per day and they are heavy with the stuff I have in there. No experience with the powerd slides.
I appreciate all comments.

Don't most other optionsrequire coax to the roof?

Thanks for all who replied.
I have gotten info from dealer that: you cannot get Zephyr seats in an AB, you can modify paint for a fee, and there will be a 40IP floorplan.
