Single Pane Glass

Help!! Tiffin Allegro RED owners. For many years all of the RV's I have owned have had Dual Pane windows (glass).I'm considering a used Allegro Red and they advertise that they have thick single pane glass. My question is do you have issues with fogging and moisture with this single pane glass?I travel allot in the Pacific Northwest and other humid areas and don't want to make a mistake in my purchase. Appreciate your comments.

Sure, just like in a car which is also single pane glass, but the fogging is only temporary while with double pane it window will need profession attention to correct the fogging between the panes.

Would rather have double pane over a thick single pane. The gap between the panes is what limits temperature and sound transmission unlike a solid surface.

No complaints with our single pane windows. I like them. Our previous RVs have had double pane windows and permanent fogging that required repair. We live on the east coast and no window fogging issues in spite of humidity and moisture this Spring. Warm humid air meeting cool air causes the problem so inside climate control the RV is the key.

I much prefer the single pane over double "pain" glass. As mentioned earlier, it is easy to wipe the fog off single pane glass if any shows up. I had a terrible time with double pane glass fogging up. It usually takes a few years, but once it does, you are stuck with it.

I notice no difference in insulation. If it is really cold out, you will need lots of heat. If it is really hot, you will need all the air conditioning you have. That is with single or double pane glass.

No problem here with the single pane glass. Our Itasca had double pane dark tinted windows, so I do notice a bit more heat transmission with these, but they are not bad at all. I do plan on adding some window tint.
