my 2012 isn't completely flat either, but always goes in/out the same each time, so I think that was the way it was designed. Hasn't been a problem, so far. I've never had a RV I thought was perfect no matter the mfg. They all seem to have to many moving parts, even popups have some quirky things about them and they are about the most basic RV. Just be glad that Tiffins seem to hold together bouncing down the road better than most. Dave
