Some Allegro 34TGA questions

Hi: My wife and I are 1 week into our new (to us) 34TGA. At Gettysburg PA right now for our shakedown trip.

We are coming from a Roadtrek B class Sprinter that drove like a sports car compared to the Tiffin. It was about 9500lbs loaded compared to our new 21000lb TGA, so it should have. Nearly 20mpg was nice, but the extra room and amenities of the TGA are better.

Everything is working well and I finally got the driver seat turned around! I hope I can just get it back for the drive home. It seems that turning toward the outside with froward/backword and up/down movements seem to be what it takes.

Anyone have any tips on the separate lounge chair? Loosening the hold down knob allows some movement, but I am getting interference with the fire extinguisher holder. Short of removing the hold down (did that and it takes a while to get back in) any tips?

Thanks, Bob

Congratulations on your new purchase the 34TGA is a nice coach with a great floor plan. We love ours!

The drivers seat has to be all the way forward and down with the steering wheel tilted up, then turn seat to the right and the arm rest will just clear the wheel.
Make sure you don't twist up the wires going to the chair as they will pull out of the controller. PS seat all way back and down then turn to the right.
The hold down for recliner is clear from all on ours.

Good Luck, safe travels

Joe

You should not have any problem with the bracket on the lounge chair. You should be able to loosen enough to lift bracket up and off the base of the chair. Even if you take the bracket off, it should not be difficult to secure over base of chair and tighten down. We do this every day. You should be able to secure bracket either pointing toward center of coach or pointing toward outside wall which is way it is while I am sitting and writing this.

We bought a 2015 Model that was fairly well equipped. My son checked the 2015 brochure and it seems to have everything except Sumo Springs and updated radio.

Congrats on your "new" Motorhome. Welcome to Tiffin ownership. Remember if you have any problems post them here for help and/or call Tiffin. They have a fantastic support center for us Tiffin owners. Great service and warranty program.

I can loosen the lock on my recliner enough to slide the recliner base out without totally removing the knob or too clamp. Pay heed to advice of turning crew chairs around in wrong direction. 1st takes more work and you can pull power wires loose. Fortunately I pulled the wire out of plug so was easy repair on my 2012
