Squeaky Floor

Has anyone else developed a squeaky floor, ours is located right in the center of the living area, coach is level and hasn't moved for three weeks. Squeaks only when stepped on. I looked underneath the floor from the bay areas and could find nothing movable or squeaky. Thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

It would help if you would post the year and model of your coach or put it in your signature line.

It's not uncommon to have squeaks as it's slight movement of the subfloor. Our Allegro RED had one in the rear bath and our current Phaeton has one near the refrigerator. Some have eliminated the squeak by inserting shims between the metal frame and the underside of the floor insulation in the squeaky area.

Agreed. Info on your coach would help us.

I've got a squeak but it's the engine hatch tile. It'll squeak when the tile is cold back there but doesn't after I've had the floor heat on. I don't think I can do anything about that.

I have a 2019 Red 37pa. Occasionally I’ll notice a creak around the bathroom slide. I imagine the slide imparts some flexing of the subfloor. Most of the time the floor is sound. I have not noticed any issues in the living area. If you can isolate the area under a specific tile you could have it replaced. Could be the substrate material underneath might have an issue.
