Sumo Springs-Are they worth it?

I've noticed that they are offered as an option on the Ford Chassis. The salesman says they are worth it but when I asked if the new Ford Chassis solved any of the old handling problems he couldn't offer any explanations. Any experiences of opinions from owners would be appreciated.

What are the old handling problems?
Did you ask to take a test drive to get a feel of the suspension?

Sumo Springs are highly rated and recommended options by many.
If steering is loose or sloppy, a steering stabilizer like Safe-T-Plus is good.
If taking turns and winds affect sway and leaning, Front and rear anti-sway bars will make a big difference.
If the back of the RV feels like the tail is wagging the dog, then a Rear trac bar is needed.
If the ride is rough, then Koni shocks all around.

There have been a number of postings on this topic on Tiffin RV Network (TRVN). Everybody loves them, there have been no negative reportings. They all said that the Coach should come from factory with them already installed, which is an option now. Wasn't an option when I purchased our Coach. They said it's like night and day on the handling. I'm saving up for a set right now.

My coach didn't come with them. I drove it for a year without them. I installed them myself. The hardest part is taking off the wheels and getting them retorqued to 450 foot pounds. The difference is really great. They take away a lot of the rocking motion especially on two lane roads with rough shoulders. The Sumo's are anchored at the top and bottom to accomplish this. Ride quality is not affected and I feel the coach is easier to drive. Most definitely I would recommend them over any other suspension enhancement. Sumo's are the only one I have and really like the way it handles.
