temperature in slides

Anyone have a problem with temperature in the cabinets of the slides in a 2010 38QBA. It melted all the chocolate in the slide and had the thermostat control reading above 90 degrees at times. Also, it was cold during a late fall trip. Please let me know if anyone has this problem or if it is just our rig.

Cabinets are a closed environment, they will always be hotter or colder than the interior of the coach.

Welcome to irv2 jpk123.
During the summer months when sun hits the slide side the cabinets may get hot to melt your chocolate.
During winter months maybe cooler than your heated interior.
If the slide walls have a good insulation installed may keep cabinet interior more normal as rest of coach.
If your thermostat is installed on cabinet wall and heat is causing false readings it needs to be moved to interior wall.
