Thank you

I posted a problem I was having with financing and many of you replied with suggestions.

I want to thank you for your help.

Update- I was declined by many credit due to the age of the motorhome, or the ones approved the rate was above 8 percent.

I was dealing with tony Morse at nirvc in lilburn Georgia on the 2000 tiffin. We spoke and emailed numerous times, and he was always helpful. Thank you tony for all your help even though it didn't pan out.

Anyone have any dealings with general rv in Michigan?? Looking at a 2006 tiffin diesel pusher for 59k.

We were overall quite happy with the purchase (with trade-in) of our new Tiffin RED from General RV.

Financial guy was very focused on selling a extended service plan which I was not interested in. Must be a big commission he missed out on. b

Wait till next winter and find a hungry dealer willing to let last years new model go for what it cost him. Be flexible about what make and model but get what works for you. If your credit is challenged or you are carrying too much debt, getting a loan will be very difficult. If so, work on improving your debt to income ratio and remember that too many hits on your credit file lowers your scores. If any of this is your position...you may have to take the deal that is approved at the higher interest rate. If you can secure a preapproved loan amount at a rate that you can accept, then go find the best deal you can find. Private sellers are usually motivated sellers and can often be negotiated down to what you need to close the deal. BUT in the end you will have to be realistic about your needs, wants, and expectations. Don't settle for a bad coach, regardless of the deal, keep looking. Let us know when you get it that just right coach....
