We also got a special paint job. Here's the deal
1. Unless you want to pay MONSTER MONEY you MUST accept the "graphics package" for that model. All 2014 Allegro buses have the same swirl pattern. All Phaetons have the same swirl pattern, etc.
2. You must choose standard Tiffin Colors. The one color we changed on our 45LP is a color that Tiffin uses on the Allegro Road.
3. It is "X" amount per color based upon the % of coverage of that color - so, changing an accent color is a LOT cheaper than changing the base color of the rig which has 100% coverage.
4. You MUST tell them before production begins and you must pay for it before they will agree.

You can change a color or remove a color but their is a charge for doing so and that can very based on what you may do. (Like are you using a current Tiffin paint color or another color all together.) Our's, even though it has a name, is not available at this time. You see, seeing it was custom to us that we came up with, as we did not want to park next to ourselves and our need to want to be different, we asked for it to please not to be used for some time.
I was not aware that the NASA one had any charge for it as it is one they offer, just not listed in the details. We have seen a few roll though on the smaller rigs. Seeing that their are not a lot in that color as it is not really shown, you have a better chance at being "different".
Hope this helps.

So I guess if I order the "David Bott" special edition color scheme, I will have to wait until 2015?
Darn, It's always something.

Hi all who subscribed to this thread...
If you are having a new coach built and are wondering if you should be onsite for the built, we kindly submit our video about our experience on the build experience of our 2014 Tiffin Allegro Bus model 45LP. This 8 minute video talks about what to expect and why it is great to be onsite for the build.
After documenting our complete build with blog entries and time lapse videos, we were asked time and time again was it worth being their. So, here is the answer in video form...
Going to have a Tiffin Coach Built? - YouTube
Hope this is of some value.

Hello All....
Well it has been quite a ride. (So to speak.) We are happy to say that we now have the final page now posted to our blog on the build. It has the complete time lapse build, the talk about being onsite for the build, and a walk though of our new home.
Hope you enjoy this final installment and have enjoyed, if you followed along, our build experience.

Nope, not a special litter box, but a litter area at least.
No through the floor area, but we did do an under the bed cut out for them to have their own area.

We are on the Tiffin PowerGlide chassis, the fan clutch is being replaced as they have a new one that we will be testing in real world. The issue is they went to a smaller radiator to make room for the DEF tank. Because of this they needed a larger fan to move move air. The issue was the fan was too heavy for the current clutch and it "can" end up ripping up the clutch. It does not seem to happen on all the clutches though. But they are going to be using a different one and we should have it by end of next week. (We hope.)
