Holly,
I've not yet made the trip to Red Bay, but from my understanding, they have a full hookup campground available for $ 10.00 a night so you definitely can park your rig there.

Red Bay main number: 800/283-3922 should get you connected. Chances are very good you will see the Phaeton desired. Always 20 or so finished, another batch in production & you can always find a owner glad to show you theirs on the runway. Can't miss the factory, it takes up the northwest side of town. Anyone in town can direct you there. Just a block north of the main street in downtown. Campground is 2 miles northwest of factory.
You'll have a great time; very informative tour.

..Added..set aside day and 1/2 to see it all. the tour is just the start. Belmont painting facility is 6 miles away [a must see- for the final look of the coaches]. Service facility is a thing of beauty & you really need to talk to current owners at the campground. Cannot do it justice in a mere 2-3 hour visit. But if you must, the factory has a big-rig parking for visitors. Be sure to pick up the brochures for the models you are looking at [the little red roof welcome center].
Have a great time...

Holly,
Getting into the campground is a first come first serve basis. No reservations. I left there Saturday morning. There were about 25 units dry camping waiting to get hookups. If you are there for warranty work the site is free. As mentioned earlier it's $10.00 a day with full hookups. There is alot to see there and you will totally enjoy yourself. Don't forget to take the tour with "RED".......
There are some 09 units available. They are labeled accordingly.

As to availability of campsites - it varies with the season. Right now all the snowbirds are heading north and Red Bay is always a popular "pit stop" on the way to get service work done. The same holds true for the fall migration south. The rest of the time the campground isn't that crowded.
