Tiffin Changes Through The Past Years

What are some of the changes Tiffin has made to the Bus and Phaeton throughout the 2012 - Present years? Are there any years that I may want to stay away from in considering to purchase a Tiffin during that time period?

To know for sure, one would need to research old brochures and compare specs. Different specs (water tank capacities) would be an indication of a difference under the floor.

I believe they did add items controlled by the Spyder system incrementally from 2014 through 2018. I think other changes were mostly cosmetic and some floorplan changes.

The 2019 Bus is an all new design. New chassis, bigger holding tanks, new dash, integrated awnings, more control through Spyder, etc.

There is a link to archived brochures on the Tiffin website.

I do know that the 15 and up has a remote app and module that lets you control the coach from your phone or tablet, if that is of interest. Does not work on our 14 and I never did a lot of research since it didn't work with ours. We have had a few minor, very minor things come up with our 14 like any coach and we are 100% Satisfied.

If one was to full time in the winter I can tell you we had a great test the last few days with the wind chill -5 or so. Comfort in the coach is that of our old S and B.

Tiffin Changes Through The Past Years

We are looking too, and I think there were some furniture issues that plagued Tiffin as well as other manufacturers since many use the same vendors. But I will keep tabs on this thread as we are currently considering at a 2013 Phaeton.
