I noticed that too. Maybe its because Workhorse doesn't have thier gas engine package figured out yet after 2110. They are supposed to be dropping the 8.1 and haven't announced a replacement for it yet. Could be they are just scaling back a bit at Tiffin, simplifying in todays market conditions.

jojolou: Yes, I believe you did. If you closely at the 2009 Tiffin specs for the Allegro Bay product, you will see that all four floor plans are available on the 340 HP Fred 26K GVWR chassis.

The same floor plans are also available on various FORD F-53 chassis. Specifically, the 34XB is a F-53-22K and the 35TSB is a F-53-24K, and both the 37QDB and the 38TGB floor plans are available on the F-53-26K varient.

Workhorse W-22 chassis is available under the 34XB, and the Workhorse W-24 is available under the 35TSB. The other two larger floor plans are apparently NOT using a Workhorse chassis because Tiffin feels they need a higher GVWR chassis, which both the FCCC FRED and the Ford F-53-26K can provide.

One unknown which I am hoping to learn is which chassis are available choices under the new 37QSB, which has not been added to the website...yet ( even though finished units are on dealer lots).

I post this info as factually as I can, based on reading the 2009 specs provided by Tiffin. ED

From the Tiffin web site, it looks like ALL Allegros are available on Workhorse chassis; but I think Ed is right about the weight of the larger Allegro Bays needing a heavier chassis. All but one of the Bay models have at least 3 slides.

The larger Allegro Bays used to be offered on the W25.5 chassis, but no more. It's a good bet the 37QSB won't be offered on a Workhorse chassis either unless they can resurrect the W25.5.

PAZ: Thanks for adding that info about the Allegro models, I completely overlooked that when trying to respond to the OP. At least for now, it appears that Ford offers higher GVWR ratings than Workhorse for the front engined chassis.

Now, If I could just get Mr. Bob to build the 37QSB on the UFO 26K, then life would be sweet! ED

Thanks guys, I must've had a senior moment when I first looked at the Tiffin web site. I went back and looked again and Ed is absolutely correct. I don't know how I missed it the first time, but thanks again for the info!

I received an e-mail from them yesterday, yes they are down due to moving to a new server. Should be up and going in a day or so.

Actually, the site went down Friday at 6 PM EDT. It was back up on the new server by Friday evening but most of the DNS settings hadn't repropogated to the new IP address until Saturday mid-day. You shouldn't have any problem getting in.
