Tiffin Order/Build Timeline Update?

Any updates on what to expect on timeline with recent adjustment to production rate?

Our dealer originally told us to expect 16 weeks, but some units were arriving in 14 weeks. Dealer indicated 16 weeks was probably still a good estimate. Our order (Phaeton 40IH) has been on books for 5 weeks and have not received build schedule yet.

Welcome to the IH club, you are gonna love it. Your dealer should contact Tiffin about the build schedule or you can call them directly and ask for build scheduling. We did not find out about our build schedule until about ten days before it was to start. Once it's in production it will take about ten days to build and paint then go back for final inspections.

Build schedule / lead time

We ordered our 37BA on 3/15 and its scheduled start date is tomorrow 4/19. According to the schedule we were sent it should be finished 5/16.

Our dealer was not real responsive keeping us informed but I was able to get a Tiffin order number out of them and then contacted Effie Johnson who sent me the schedule.

Without the order number it might be a needle in a haystack for her.

Good luck

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Called the plant and was told that they are catching up and a more realistic time frame is now 10 weeks. Just got my line number yesterday. I'm thinking that different models are on different schedules. I'm chomping at the bit to receive mine. They send me a new brochure every week because i wear them out looking at them.

Effie is great. Give her your name and name of dealer and she will find your build sheet.

Surprise. We got our build schedule today, and rig hits weld shop tomorrow with ship date of 5/24. This is about 5-6 weeks earlier than what dealer told us to expect and from other info we had. Good news/bad news. Now have to scramble to make plans to be in Red Bay for final inspection. Last week dealer told us no build schedule yet - somewhat disappointed in flow of info from dealer. With adjustment in production rates, we were expecting later date rather than early date. We are excited to be on final part of our journey to buy the 40IH.

Just thinking .... why can't a buyer take delivery in Red Bay? I know the paperwork and money flows would need changed but it sure would be better to fly down and have everything fixed before the coach leaves Red Bay vs taking delivery 1000 miles away and having to make the pilgrimage to get things made right.

I've never had to worry about a bear. Did have 2 teenagers try to take my bikes off of the back of my motor home. Had windows open and as soon as i pumped a shell into my sawed off, they were ass and elbows across the parking lot. I think that they had heard the action of a shot gun before.
I considered trying to pick mine up in Red Bay. The closest airport is 3 1/2 hours away. If you know of a closer one let me know.

Memphis is about 2 hours away from Red Bay. It is where I would fly if I was going to Red Bay.
