To start, all TVs are connected to all potential sources. So all TVs are connected to Sat, DVD, cable, and OTA TV. What you watch is selected on the TV itself via the TVs INPUT function on the remote and the MENU function (for broadcast TV and cable).
Your wiring for satellites is directed to the front (over the passenger's head) entertainment cabinet. The coaxes from the sat antennas are labeled Sat 1 and Sat 2. Sat 2 is normally used for either the second receiver or the alternate antenna connection via the sat antenna in port in the wet bay. This line will also have an A/B switch on it so it can be switched from the roof satellite antenna to the external, tripod mounted antenna should you choose to use one.
All TVs are wired for OTA TV or cable. The selection process is via the TV INPUT button and and the TV MENU.
The HTS box is mounted in the entertainment cabinet as well. There is only one. It is probably not a BluRay player, just DVD in your year coach. This box also drives the surround sound system.
TVs are connected to the HTS box and satellite receivers via HDMI or Component (R,G, B + audio) cableling.
To use your Directv tripod, you would have to connect the output to the correct connection in the wetbay, set the A/B switch to B, and connect the SAT 2 cable to your receiver. Turn on the TV you want to watch and set the INPUT to SAT, adjust the volume, and enjoy your adult beverage. This assumes everything was wired correctly from the factory, however.
