Is anyone interested in trying to get a group together for a Tiffin rally. I already have dates picked, here is the info. Please let me know if you are interested.
2008 Northeast Fall Rally Sept 10th-14th

I finally got everything for the most part worked out. The Northeast rally will be on September 10th through the 14th at the http://www.newburghkoa.com/ . You will able to arrive earlier during the weekdays or stay later at the rally rate.

The rate per a night will be $38.25 as long as we have 15 rigs, that is the group rate.

There also will be Sight seeing Tours to NY for an additional cost of $99.00 a person, and they must have at least 12 people to go on any given day. This is a pretty busy time of year, so I am sure on any of the days there would be a bus going. Here is what you will see:Take a sightseeing tour that leaves directly from the campground to see all those places that you've always just read about. First stop is the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy strolling around Liberty Island, enjoying the city skyline or touring the museum. From the ferry, you will also have the opportunity to see Ellis Island. Back on land, the tour continues with a drive through lower Manhattan. Lunch is on your own at the South Street Seaport, where you can choose from a variety of authentic New York cuisine and enjoy great views of the harbor and the Brooklyn Bridge. After lunch, the tour continues uptown with a narrated drive through some of the world's most famous neighborhoods and districts. You'll see Fifth Avenue, China Town, the garment district, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. Take an elevator ride to the 86th floor observation deck of the Empire State Building. Finally, enjoy the sights and sounds of Broadway and Times Square with a great Coney hot dog or a slice of New York Cheesecake. Every day is different in New York City and your knowledgeable tour escort will ensure that you get the most out of your trip to the Big Apple.

If you wanted to drive in to NY or take the train I could help you with that as well, Newburgh has a Ferry service across the hudson to the Train station, and there are non-stop trains from Beacon to Grand Central Station at certain times.

There are many historical sites in the area, West Point Military Academy, Washingtons Headquarters to name a few are a short drive and easy to get to. For those Orange County Chopper fans they are also building a new showroom/factory in Newburgh which will be open this April, you can go here for further http://www.orangecountychoppers.com/...ndopening.html

TO MAKE RESERVATIONS CALL 1-800-562-7220 and tell them you are with the TIFFIN RALLY to get the group rate. Then Please post when you make your reservations, and let me know the number of adults and if there are any children in your group. I will be makeing Name Tags for adults, so you can e-mail me at:
lenny@len-richrv.net how you want your names on your tags.

Finally, if there are other things in the Hudson Valley area you are interested in let me know so I can try to find out the information for you and have it available to you when you arrive

They have resserved about 30 spots. Only 10 taken so far
