Tiffin Wholesale Prices

Can anyone provide a wholesale price list for the 2018 Allegro 36LA. We are looking at ordering a unit, but really need to understand the base cost and cost for each option. I found a site with 2017 prices and earlier, but not for 2018. The main thing I need is the base price. I think the options are the same as last year.

Thanks,

LOL. We are planning to work with several dealers near Redbay to get the best price on a custom order. Its helpful to understand the breakdown. Most on lot units have expensive features we don't want (like satellite and navigation).

Looking forward to what you find out. All I have ever seen from Tiffin is a "Retail" price. I've always wondered about the wholesale price.

I think you will find it very hard to find the wholesale price. I canít imagine the dealer or Tiffin sharing that.
As far as dealers near red bay, they just gave me prices ranging from 27% to 27.5% off MSRP. Used to be 28% or better. Guess it depends on what you order. You can delete the satellite on the roof but donít expect any refund for it. The overhead tv can be deleted and cabinets put in place of it for no cost, at least it wasnít when we ordered our 2014.

Unless you become a Tiffin dealer, you are never going to see a wholesale price, and even then you are are only going to see a dealer price. What a part or accessory costs Tiffin is not ever going to be public information.

You can easily get a MSRP from Tiffin and then base your price off of that. Most dealers discount between 25% and 28% off MSRP. Tiffin has always made MSRPs freely available because some unscrupulous dealers have been known to create their own MSRPs.

wholes sale price info

Purchased a 2015 37PA form La Mesa RV in Mesa Arizona in October 2015. MSRP was approx $254,000 and they gave me the Tiffin Dealer Price sheet with all items listed.
Dealer Invoice was approx $174,000. An $80,000/45% markup. I'm sure there are additional sales incentive- kickbacks to the dealer from Tiffin. Hope this information is helpful

Tiffin Wholesale Price

I just spent the last year looking at Tiffin RVs from the top to the bottom. From what I learned you can take 45% off the MSRP but no dealer I talked to would go below 35%.

I just bought a '16 32SA with 7733 miles at 52.5% of MSRP which was 15 to 20K below currently listed prices.

Anyone have the retail price list for the 2018 Allegro 36LA? I can work backgrounds based on the average discount rates. Most of the option prices seem to stay the same, but the base price goes up each year.

Bob I think were talking a 31.5 % markup difference.

174,000 K divided by 254,000 K = 68.5 %

254,000 X 68.5 % = 173,990 or 254,000 X 31.5 % = 80,010 discount.

You may be able to get that info from Tiffin. When I was at Red Bay they had a 2017 MSRP price list along with the brochures for all models. Maybe they will mail you one. I have a 2017 price list but that won't help you.

Our numbers come out the same but I came at it from the $174,000 dealer cost. MSRP of $ 254,000 which is $80,000 above the $ 174,000 base/dealer cost results in a 45% profit for the dealer. Therefore, @ typical 27.5% discount by the dealer would give the final price to the customer of approx $184,000 leaving the dealer with a $10,000 gross profit. So not considering incentives from Tiffin... dealers are working on a small gross profit margins of around 5%. Agree?

of approx $184,000 leaving the dealer with a $10,000 profit

Sorry Bob your numerator and denominator are reversed for proper calculations do recheck

We are looking at it from 2 different perspectives. I'm looking at it from the dealer/cost/profit side you are looking at from the sales customer side as a discount. Both sides work out to a net profit to the dealer in the 3 to 6% profit. 31.5% - 27.5% = 4% profit to dealer

31.5% - 26.5% = 5%

31.5% - 25.0% = 6.5%

We are getting the same answer just working from 2 different perspectives dealer vs customer

another approach.. if you bought your house for $174,000 and sold it for $254,000 you would have made a profit of $80,000 or 46% if you discounted it by 27.5% you would have netted the 4% gain. Agree?
