I've come to the conclusion that, for the most part, there is no code in the letter designation. The newer designs have all gone back to a 2 letter designation - LH, GH, SA, LA and so on. Who knows (or cares) what they mean.

Unless they've changed recently, Tiffin uses the last letter (only) to designate which coach model. The "beginning" letter choices remain a mystery to me.

Examples: all the Phaeton floor plans end in "H"; The Allegro BAYs ended in "B", while the regular Allegros end in "A"; and all the Allegro BUS floor plans end in "P". Not sure about the RED, Breeze, or Zeypher, but a check of their website can confirm if this code system still holds true. Ed

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I have merged the two threads you began on this topic to avoid duplicate threads.

We're glad you found us.

I have noticed on older Tiffins and a lot of other brands, that the "B:" in the middle whill mean bunks. QBA come to mind. As to the TGA, I think the first guess was right. Tripple Slide Gas.

It' all very confusing. My coach is a 2012 Allegro Open Road 34TGA.........34 ft 10 in long, triple slide, gas, "A" type motorhome. My previous rig, a 2004 Allegro 32 BA.....32 ft 10 inches long, 2 slides and it was a "A" type motorhome. They don't make the 32BA's any longer, now they are 32 CA. The first one on a Workhorse, this one a Ford, not that this matters. Oh, by the way...hi Edgray; miss you guys.
