Touch up paint issues

I emailed tiffin for the touch up paint number and they gave me this "4x# 5009763 PAINT TOUCH UP (SPECIFY COLOR) $9.35/each" I called north rail rv and they sent me to automotive touch up which is a company I called and also u can order online and their rv expert said nothing comes up. I called tiffin back and they said no, that's the number and round and round we went. Any tips on where to call, dealer, internet, anyone who sells this and knows what's going on? Also asked tiffin about my cabinet stain which in the brochure is called cherry, they got back to me and said the name of the stain is cherry wood! I am a woodworker and know there are an aweful lot of stain manufacturers out there and "cherry wood" is not very descriptive. Any help hee would also be appreciated. thx, tom

If your coach has some age on it, the best bet would be to get a auto body shop to scan the paint color and mix a small sample for you since colors fade and shift tints over the years of exposure.

I am a bit confused though, you mentioned calling Tiffin but your coach listed under your profile as a Winnebago. Did you get a new coach?

Do they sell it in the new Tiffin online store? They gave us touchup paint with the rv.

Look on the door jamb of your Tiffin, the paint list is there with the names and numbers. Paint is made by BASF. I had a local NAPA mix me a spray can of paint.

You can order paint directly from the Tiffin store in any quantity you want in any of their colors. I have tried to order from my local NAPA store without luck. Part of the problem has to do with state and Federal EPA regs. The BASF rep told my NAPA paint guys he wasn't allowed to mix and sell Tiffin formulas in Delaware. I'd expect other states may or may not see similar problems.

Same type issues are present with their stains I'd imagine. My 2013 Bus is seeing some small issues with end grain stain and finish peeling at wood joints. Two weeks ago I talked to a Tiffin re-finisher at the Tiffin repair facility in Red Bay. Even though my interior is finished as Natural Cherry, (sand cherry wood with 220 paper and spray with lacquer) my wood and finish is over 4 years old. Since it's aged darker I was able to get a touch up bottle of stain from the store that will closely match it's current color. I might find it in a commercial store, but I doubt it. Tiffin uses it to match old natural cherry finish, and I'm sure they mix it themselves.
