Does any body know the towing capacity of the 2012 Tiffin Allegro Breeze 32' the salemans says you can tow a truck that's 5400 lbs. i have read that 4500 lbs is all. any info would be appreciated

And also has any body had any experience with the Maxxforce7 Diesel Motor thats the 2012 Breeze has...

Salesmen will often tell you anything you want to hear to make a sale. According to the Tiffin web site, the 32BR has a towing capacity of 4500 lb. I would believe Tiffin over a salesman any day.

In addition to the capacity of the hitch, the engine used in the Breeze only produces 215 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. The torque isn't bad, and the peak is produced at low RPM; but I believe the engine may be a bit under-powered for towing a 5400 lb vehicle.

PAZ has got it right. From the Tiffin Breeze spec sheet:
• Trailer Hitch Capacity:
• 28 BR – 4,000 Lb.
• 32 BR – 4,500 Lb.

I'm going to be towing about 4700# with my 32 BR. I'll let you know how it does. Even though the brochure says 4500# it has a GCVW of 28000# and weighs about 20500# empty. The bad part for you would be that the hitch is only rated at 5000#.

How did your towing 4700# work out. I'm trying to determine a new toad for my 32BR Breeze. What are you towing?
