That is because the wife-me-is typing the info on my iphone while we are trying to figure this out. I apologize. Trying to be clear. Thanks for EVERYONE'S help and suggestions. We are going to follow them this morning.
Yes, it is the pedestal that is tripping. We keep a 50 amp surge quard on any pedestal we use. So, when this apparent overload happens, there is a loud thump in the belly. Then, I hurry to shut things off. 2-3 minutes go by, then the electric comes back on. So far, we have found no 15-20 amp breakers tripped.
Owned this 4 years and we have never encountered this.

Tripping

Since problem is at pedestal, it's a campground problem. Probably a bad neutral on one of the two legs. Tell campground management about the problem so they can get someone to check both legs with a multimeter.

Your surge protector is doing its job by alerting you about the problem.

A bad pedestal can drive you crazy. Last summer we experienced a problem at a campground with 50 amp service, drove us crazy as the Progressive EMS kept shutting us down, finally checked the pedestal , found one leg at 120 and the other at 107...campground worker told me he had never seen anything like that...yeah right..

Sounds like a worn out breaker in the pedestal. If you can do it the easiest way to troubleshoot is to plug into a different pedestal and see if everything works OK. If it does then the park has the problem not you.

Ref OP's post 15--the devil is in the details.......according to his post he "hears a clunk in the basement and the power goes off....then 2-3 minutes later, it comes back on"....or something like that.....since power is restored without his intervening [ie reset breakers], it sounds like his surge protector is sensing low voltage. Could be the breaker in the pedestal "leaking" voltage but more likely it is low campground power on one leg. Also says: ..."have owned the coach for 4 years and never had this happen before".....Not sure what this would have to do with it unless he has been at the same pedestal for 4 years. Microwave start -- 15-20 amps; washer -- 15-20; inverter charger -- 10-15; anything else on same leg, probably pulls the CG leg below his s/p threshold.....

The thump in the belly is probably the transfer switch dropping out. Your surge protector may have a readout on it or lights and can tell you what happened. I have had that happen two times. The first time the electrician changed out the breaker and the outlet on the pole. Problem solved. The second time at a different place the electrician told me everything was fine but kept dropping out once a day. We moved to another campground a week later and no more problem. And then this past summer our surge protector actually went bad and it would not reset. Put a new one in. I really like the surge protectors that have a readout to tell you what the problem is.
