TV Audio

I have a 2012 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 36LA. We have three TV's that have developed an odd problem. We are hooked up to cable and the front TV works fine. The mid and rear TV's, however, do not have audio on some channels. This has happened at two or three different RV parks. I would be happy to hear from anyone who might have a solution. The Tiffin service tech at the factory suggested I troubleshoot the splitter that is behind the front right panel above the passenger seat. I sort of doubt that is the culprit but plan to check it out when we get home. Thanks. I'm sorry if this thread is a duplicate, it's been a while since I have used this site.

Splitters have been know to be a problem, fortunately they are inexpensive and available at Radio Shack and probably Lowes and Home Depot.

We had a problem with over-the-air and cable signal being week (bad picture) on only the bedroom tv(the longest cable run). It was slowly getting worse, especially the lower numbered channels. I checked the connections at the tv and splitter(took them apart and reconnected them) but problem stayed the same. I then switched connections at the splitter, (bedroom with mid-bus tv} and now all 4 tvs have a nice clear picture???? Must have been something with the splitter.

Most likely you have pressed the SAP button on your remote for the TVs without audio. I'll bet it happens on different channels at different campgrounds.

Find the SAP (Secondary Audio Program) button on your remote (top left??). Use it to select the correct audio feed.
