TV Rear Access

2018 RED 33AA.
How can I access the rear of the 3 inside TV's if I want to add or change a cable?
I don't see anything obvious.

It is usually not an obvious job. I swapped out my 2 TVs and they were both different in the way they were mounted and both a major struggle...but, I won!

Take a good long look at everything that might be a possibility in the mount. Tap, shake and pry a little. Work slow and you will get em out.

Thanks. I don't want to take them out. I just want to be able to add an HDMI cord or a Chromecast to one of the rear inputs.

Sorry, but you are going to have to take them off the mount to gain access to where you will plug in your HDMI cable. But it is easy - except for the front TV possibly. Both the bedroom and the mid-cabin TV use the same mount. Use a square drive screwdriver and remove the 4-5 mounting screws at the base of the mount. Lift the TV up off the mount and plug in your cable. Put the TV back on the mount and put the screws back in.

Front TV? I'll let someone else tackle that one but my assumption is that it is similar after you remove the trim.

On the front TV there are two different types of mounts. The one that was in our Allegro RED had three or four vertical screws accessible from the bottom once the grillwork was removed. The other type has no access from the bottom and there is a bolt on each side accessible by removing the inside panel in the cabinets on either side. Also, the mid living room TV in our RED had HDMI and USB ports on the side that could be accessed without removing the TV.

Another option in your case might be to add an hdmi splitter in the main cabinet. On our coach all of the tvs are controlled in a cabinet in the back bedroom. I like to use apple tv so I ran a splitter that allow a connection to it. I can go to any tv, switch the input, and there is apple tv. If you have a dvd player, you could use that hdmi, run the wire into the splitter and then a wire from the splitter to the dvd, and another to say, apple tv.

I tried a splitter from Amazon on a previous rig but it caused a pretty big reduction in picture quality.
What make.model have you found that works best?

I didn't use anything special and I didn't notice a loss at all. I guess I would go to amazon and look at reviews before I bought one if there was a problem in the past. Obviously make sure the connections are tight.

Regarding splitters. I bought a 4 port hdmi switch. Installed a second direct tv box and a Apple TV so now hdmi can be a different satellite channel than hdmi 2 so wife and I can watch different channels and like mentioned above also the Blu-ray or Apple TV on hdmi 1 in our coach. The 4 port hdmi switch has a remote control but is mostly on direct tv.

Thanks folks. It looks like an HDMI switch will be the easiest way to go.

I added a 3 port hdmi splitter so i could go between firestick , blue ray and apple tv. Where did you get the signal for the direct tv box ?

To feed the second direct tv box just add a 3way coax splitter on the coax cable before it attaches to the direct tv box and the add a short cable to each of the two direct tv boxes.
