I have done the install on my Open Road but I am not familiar with what is under the Red in the rear. When you get done, there should be about 4" between the road surface and the bottom of the UltraGuard.
Maybe this will give you some ideas:
1. Purchase a piece of 1" or 1.5" galvanized steel angle, 8' long, from Lowes or Home Depot.
2. Locate the angle against the back of the hitch and clamp temporarily in place.
3. Check for clearance and potential mounting points for the ends. I mounted mine to the hitch framing in the middle and through the compartment floors on the ends. Others have used cable to mount the ends to solid structure under the end of the motor home.
4. Remove the angle and mount the UltraGuard to and then bolt the whole thing to the motorhome. Have a helper handy as it is heavy.
