Thinking of purchasing a 2007 Allegro Bay with only 4,000 miles on it, but am concerned about the warranty or lack thereof. Does anyone know if the original factory warranty would be honored by Tiffin for a second owner?

I'd bet there wouldn't be a problem. But to be sure, call Tiffin at 1-800-283-3922 and punch the necessary buttons to get to Service. Give them the S/N (either Tiffin or chassis S/N) and they'll be able to confirm or deny that it would be warranty would still be in effect.

If you do purchase it, just call Tiffin back and make sure they have you listed as the owner.

Good luck,

Chuck

LRob: WELCOME to iRV2.com You've come to the right place for RV info. We are glad you joined and posted.

I want to suggest you also consider finding out about your CHASSIS warranty, because those "usually" last longer than the coach builder's warranty. Of course, Tiffin's warranty never really goes away completely, or so I've heard.

Again, Welcome! ED

LRob..
I would also like to welcome you to iRV2! You can probably call Tiffin without the S/N and ask if their warranties are transferable. They should be able to tell you what is left if you do have the coach number, though.

Make sure you come back and ask for some "Tiffin Karma" if you do buy the coach.

Again...welcome to iRV2!

LRob,
You will need the last five or six of the VIN for Tiffin, and they will be able to pull up your coach. Tiffin is great to work with and very informative. They have been extremley busy the last few times I called and you may have to leave a message but they will call you back! (Thats a change from other manufacturers)!

LRob,

They will call you back. I placed a call to Bob Tiffin last week to discuss a window problem. He was on the phone so I just left a message. I got a return call from him in less than three minutes. Am I a happy camper? You bet ya!
