Water Filter Purchase
I recently purchased a 2013 Allegro Red 38 QRA. My water pressure dropped considerably. A Tiffin Tech told me to check the water filter in the sanitation compartment. I removed the filter, and the pressure increased to normal. I called the Tech again and asked what maker and part number I need to purchase for a replacement. I was told I needed a Flowmatic which I could purchase from Walmart. I checked with every Walmart in the area and none had a Flowmatic filter on the shelf. I would appreciate advice from any Tiffin owners out there.

You can get it shipped from Tiffin parts dept. or like some of us you can leave the cartridge out and enjoy excellent water pressure.
If I were filling my tanks from the local stream or lake, I'd consider the filter important. Since every water source I use to fill my tank is from a municipal supply or a tested source (my well) I find concerns about water filters silly. If you're concerned about taste and odor, take a glass of water from the spigot. If you don't like it, don't fill your tank.

You can get a general purpose carbon/particulate filter from your local Lowes or Home Depot and it will work fine. The size used is very common and replacements are easy to find.

I found mine on Ebay with free shipping, bought several and change often. That depends on your water usage. See if you can get the actual part number from your owners manual or Tiffin service, mine was on the filter cartridge.

I get mine in bulk from rvwaterfilterstore.com and use the carbon filter A1208 (F1) cartridge. Very reasonable and excellent water filters. Camping World has a rather expensive Hydrolife CW16007 carbon filter. I did go to Lowe's once in a pinch before I started buying from rvwaterfilterstore.com in bulk.

X2
Retail stores often call that size a whole house filter.
