does any one know if the 2012 open road allegro, gas comes with a built in water pressure regulator? we use one on our hose and water pressure is weak so wondering if there is already one that comes standard in the rv it self?

I was wondering the same thing about ours,I use a regulator to be safe anyway,and water pressure is weak.

What kind are you using? Those $15 ones tend to restrict more than regulate after a period of use.

If you have a factory installed filter, you might want to check it. I replaced a very dirty (although 1 month old) original filter and our water pressure went up to normal.

Most RV type water "pressure regulators" are really water restrictors.

Get yourself a good Watts water pressure regulator like the Watts Brass Model X65BG avaialble from the RV Water Filter Store.

If your coach has an internal one remove it as it is a restrictor and not a regulator.

I use the Valterra Brass Adjustable Water Regulator and have been happy with it. I use the default pressure which I think is 40 or 45 psi and we have adequate water pressure in our unit. I bought a short link of hose so the regulator stays inside the wet bay and then run hose to the campground water supply. While probably no one would steal it, this avoids the temptation. Keeps it clean too.
