Weighing each wheel/how much can I carry

Looking to purchase a 2015 allegro 34TGA. Where do I get each wheel weighed? With that in mind how much cargo, water etc. can I carry. Thanks a bunch. BBPROD

First off, you don't need individual wheel weights to safely operate your coach. Go to your local truck stop and use the CAT scale to get axle weights. Use the axle weight + 5% and then use the Michelin inflation tables to pick the correct tire pressure.

How much can you carry? There is a yellow sticker on your door jam which lists your CCC and other weight information, a sticker on the driver kick panel which lists your chassis information, and finally a series of lists on your bedroom wall (in the closet) that lists a bunch more weight information. Your CCC is a general number that tells you what your carrying capacity is. It's based on a number of assumptions and should only be used as an estimate.

Generally, you would find it hard to overload a motorhome, but I suppose it is possible. I suggest you load your "stuff", drive to the scale and get weighed, and then figure out what you need to use for inflation pressures, whether you need to move stuff around, or whether you need to leave things at home.

Wheel weights are better than a simple axle weight. The axle weight will tell you what the axle is carrying but not any loading inequity. I weighed our coach and found a significant side to side weight disparity.

If I had inflated the tires based on the axle weight + 5% the tires on the higher weight side would be under inflated.
